The field is set for the 2026 King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic, bringing an impressive collection of nationally ranked prospects, All-State selections and some of Kentucky’s leading scorers to Fairdale High School.
The 44th annual tournament is scheduled for December 18–22, 2026 at Fairdale High School.

Players to Watch
The 2026 field features considerable talent, including nationally ranked prospects, college commitments and several players who earned All-State or KHSAA State Tournament honors last season.
Ferlandas Wright — Fairdale High School
Wright returns to Fairdale as one of the tournament’s most highly regarded prospects. He is ranked as the No. 1 player in Kentucky by ESPN and No. 57 nationally by 247Sports. As a sophomore at Fairdale, the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds while recording 18 double-doubles.
Rajon Pierre-Rondo — North Oldham High School
Pierre-Rondo earned Second Team All-State honors and a place on the 2026 KHSAA State All-Tournament Team. After averaging 14.6 points per game, he enters the tournament ranked among the top five players nationally in his class.
Mason Grivna — Ballard High School
The 6-foot-10 Grivna averaged 16.7 points and 9.1 rebounds per game for Ballard. He earned Second Team All-State honors and is ranked among the top 25 players nationally in his class.
Josh Lindsay — St. Xavier High School
Lindsay averaged 14 points per game while earning Second Team All-State honors and a spot on the 2026 KHSAA State All-Tournament Team. He is considered one of Kentucky’s top young players and is ranked No. 26 nationally in his class.
Aaron Webb — Indiana Area Senior High School
The University of Louisville commit gives local basketball fans another reason to follow the visiting team from Pennsylvania. The 6-foot-8 nationally ranked prospect averaged 28.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Aiden Olivarez — Saint Mary’s Hall
Olivarez is ranked among the top 15 shooting guards nationally in his class and among the top 40 overall prospects in Texas. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds while earning First Team All-Region honors and being named District Newcomer of the Year.
Jack Logsdon — Grayson County High School
The Western Kentucky University commit averaged 19.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Logsdon earned Second Team All-State honors, was selected to the 2026 KHSAA State All-Tournament Team and led Kentucky in free-throw percentage.
Matthew Langhi — Marshall County High School
Langhi enters the tournament as one of the most productive scorers in the field. The 6-foot-6 forward averaged 27.3 points per game, ranking second in Kentucky, and earned Second Team All-State honors.
Ja Rye Brown — W.E.B. DuBois Academy
Brown averaged 28.5 points per game, the fourth-highest scoring average in Kentucky. The 6-foot-2 guard earned Second Team All-State honors and is ranked among the top 200 players nationally in his class.
Brady Orem — Great Crossing High School
Orem averaged 21.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for Great Crossing. He earned Third Team All-State honors and was named to the 2026 KHSAA State All-Tournament Team.
Stone Cooper — Taylor County High School
Cooper averaged 21.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for Taylor County. His performance earned him Honorable Mention All-State recognition and placed him among Kentucky’s leading scorers.
Trey Hillerich — Louisville Male High School
The 6-foot-10 Hillerich is ranked among the top centers in the Class of 2028. He is also listed as the No. 15 power forward and No. 96 overall player nationally in his class.
Jordan Cook — Christian Academy of Louisville
Cook is a 6-foot-7 prospect ranked No. 35 nationally in his class. He averaged 14.6 points per game for Christian Academy of Louisville.
Cruz Gaines — Saint Mary’s Hall
Gaines averaged 16.6 points per game while earning First Team All-District and Honorable Mention All-State recognition in Texas. He is coached by his father, former University of Louisville All-American and NBA player Reece Gaines.
