CHAMPIONSHIP -- Ballard 65, Trinity 54

Ballard wins the 33rd King of the Bluegrass championship and claims their fourth KOB title. After trailing by five at the half, Bob White MVP Quentin Snider scored five straight points for the Bruins to put them ahead by two and never look back. Snider led all scorers with 23 points. Kelan Martin added 18 points and nine boards for Ballard. Michael Stafford led Trinity with 15 points. Craig Owens added 13 points and 8 rebounds while Trey Ivory contributed 10 points. Raymond Spalding went down in the 2nd quarter after a collision with Ballard's Brandon Berry and neither would return for the remainder of the game. Spalding had six points and seven rebounds prior to the injury.

The 2013 King of the Bluegrass finals has been a back and forth battle between two 7th Region titans. Trinity and Ballard had swapped the lead six times thus far until Trinity opened up the largest lead of the game at 33-26, but Rijad Kovacevic knocked down a 17 footer from the baseline to cut the lead to five. Trey Ivory leads Trinity with 8 points. Quentin Snider leads the Bruins with 12 points. Kelan Martin has been quiet thus far with one three pointer in the books. Raymond Spalding (Trinity) and Brandon Berry (Ballard) collided with 1:04 left in the half and appeared to bang heads. After the start of the 3rd quarter, neither have returned to action yet.
