Dorman (Roebuck, SC) advances to the quarterfinals with the 60-49 victory over Ensworth (Nashville, TN). The Cavaliers, making their KOB debut, fell behind early in the game trailing by as many as 5 points in the opening quarter as Ensworth shot 60% early. Dorman pulled back within one point on two occasions before a trio of three-pointers by Ensworth spearheaded a 15-6 run to take a 9-point lead at halftime. Dorman got off quick start in the second half taking their first lead midway through the quarter as they outscored Ensworth 27-12 in the quarter. The Tigers never got closer than six points in the final quarter of play with the Dorman lead swelling to as many as 11 points.
Dorman was led by Central Bank Player of the Game Noah Clowney with a game-high 19 points. Christian Andrews and Jordan Miller added 11 points and 10 points respectively for the Cavaliers. Devaeki Garr's 17 points led the way for Ensworth and Malike Dia added 11 points.
Dorman advances to Sunday's quarterfinals to take on the winner of George Rogers Clark vs. Lake Highland (FL) at 4:30pm. Ensworth will face the loser of the George Rogers Clark vs. Lake Highland (FL) game at 4:30pm Sunday in the consolation bracket.
