5TH PLACE SEMIFINAL -- Bullitt East 55, South Shore 51

The Bullitt East (6-2) defense had a strong first half effort holding Brooklyn's South Shore (4-5) to just 20% shooting to jump out to a seven point halftime lead. The South Shore Vikings hit 8 three-point field goals and out rebounded Bullitt East 17-9 in the second half, but the Chargers were able to withstand the push and advance to the 5th Place Final with a 55-51 victory. 

South Shore was led by Nick Simeon's 15 points and got a 13 point effort from Josh Saint Jour. The Vikings junior Cori Johnson had a game-high 16 rebounds, including nine on the offensive end. Bullitt East post man Tyler Bacon scored a game-high 19 points and guards Bailey Rakes and Tyler Sharpe added 10 and 11 respectively.
